Getting Stuff Done in Monroe County. Now.
Times are tough. We face an increasingly uncertain economic, social, and political future. That’s the challenge. That’s the work. Let’s do it.
David is committed to a Monroe County that is more than town and gown, rural and urban. Across the community, too many people are working twice as hard to pay the rent or just to eat. And for too many, Monroe County has become a place to just survive, rather than thrive. This needs to change.
David believes we can tackle challenges like improving infrastructure, addressing housing insecurity, and reducing income inequality now. His lifelong dedication to civic leadership drives him to run for county commissioner and work for a stronger community.
David believes in a simple idea - We Are Us. We are only as successful and secure as those who have the least among us. But David also knows none of the change we need happens until we change the courthouse culture - a renewed focus on the triple bottom line of protecting our people, our planet and sharing the prosperity.
We can do this. Let’s get to work.
Fund our Values. Get Stuff Done.
David didn’t run to sit in meetings—he ran to change the culture. He’s focused on asking the tough questions and working for all corners of Monroe County.
David believes in smart policy through strong budgets, asking questions, getting answers and collaborating with local governments. Leadership is about calling the shot - making the decision and sticking with it for the greater good.
David knows good leadership is key to good stewardship. He’s ready to change the courthouse culture to make sure we help people and keep our community moving.
